Some people drink coffee while other people love coffee. If you don’t drink coffee yourself or settle for a decent cup now and then, you won’t understand the importance that coffee can play when planning a trip. True caffeine addicts will want to be assured that they will never be without access to their beloved coffee and may even insist on bringing their favorite beans with them.
Since most hotels now have coffee makers in their rooms, it has become more common for travelers to bring their own coffee with them or to buy coffee upon arrival. Some lodgings cater to their guests by having coffee shops like Starbucks located on the premises. Calling ahead to find out what accommodations a hotel makes for coffee lovers can be crucial in planning a trip.
Road trips can be a bit more difficult. Since the coffee available at most gas stations is of questionable quality, many java lovers will insist on brewing gallons of their favorite blend and bringing their own thermos. They may even purchase a car coffee maker for longer trips to ensure they get their fix.
If you’re planning a trip with a coffee lover, make sure you take time to discuss their needs before finalizing plans. This will avoid the possibility of a caffeine crisis derailing what would otherwise be an enjoyable and fun excursion.
ROFL!! You crack me up Emily! I can totally envision this! Their clothes are SOOOO cute and they were the only brand that fit Sara really well for a period of her babyhood…but I managed to resist the lure of the store and rejoiced every time I found Gymboree outfits at garage sales and consignment sales for a fraction of the original price. I miss out on the Gymbucks though!
